When should I place my order?

Now! It is not uncommon for orders to be placed months in advanced. The earlier you place an order, the better.

When will I receive my order?

Frozen food ships via UPS Tuesdays and arrives chilled [no longer frozen] on Thursdays or Fridays depending on destination. You may enter later shipping dates.

What is the lead time required to place an order?

First, give us as much notice as possible. It is not uncommon for orders to be placed months in advance. Our cooking and shipping department requires a four working day notice from shipping date. Due to our production schedule, we only ship on Tuesday.

Will UPS leave my package if I am not home?

Whether or not UPS will leave your package, is solely up to the discretion of the UPS driver. If the drop off location is in a 'safe' area, then the UPS driver will leave at your doorstep. However, if the UPS driver has had any issues in the past regarding stolen or missing packages, he/she probably will not take the chance and leave your package. In some cases, you may be required to accept your delivery with a signature. If this is not possible, please ship to your place of work, to a neighbor or relative. See UPS delivery management options here at UPS My Choice. Refunds of any kind are not given at this time, so plan accordingly or do not place your order. We do pack our coolers to withstand 3 days of travel and we have had a 99.4 percent on-time rate. If there is severe weather forecasted for the destination address, please reschedule.

Costs of shipping are determined by: charges by UPS, foam insulated cooler at $42 each, market cost of gel pack ice. Sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, A.P.O. addresses, F.P.O. addresses or addresses outside the US. We'll gladly deliver to rural routes with complete addresses and telephone numbers.

When you order, your products will be cooked, then frozen and shipped from our Hawaii-based cooking and shipping facility via UPS 2nd Day Air. We ship on Tuesdays only, so packages arrive on Thursdays or Fridays depending on destination. Our products are packaged to withstand three days of shipping conditions in a cooler box with gel pack ice to insure the freshness of your food. Since we cook your food fresh to order, we need a minimum of five days to prepare your order.

Products will arrive in a chilled or possibly semi-frozen state and should be placed in the refrigerator immediately. The gel pack ice will be melted by the time you receive your package. Also, it is common for the cooler boxes to contain an odor due to the ice enhancing the wonderful smells of all the food in your package.

Return Policy

At this time UPS is not offering refunds on late packages, so we cannot provide refunds for delayed packages. We do pack our coolers to withstand 3 days of travel and we have had a 99.4 percent on-time rate. If there is severe weather forecasted for the destination address, please reschedule. We do not offer returns for any reason, unless there was an error with your order.

I live on the East Coast - can I buy a luau?

We ship anywhere in the US. Wherever you are, we can send our food to your doorstep!
